Kokyu - Durham

I don't say that easily, but this is one of the top 3 restaurants in the triangle! It is disappointed that they no longer sit in seats (which should be updated on the Google profile for the place), but also with only outdoor sessions or take-out, the food is AMAZING! I got the pork bell rice bowl and it had a perfect mix of carburized, seasoned pork with sweet and light spicy sauce. We also have the Brussels Spirouts who have legally stolen the show themselves! Loved her crispy rice coating and rich glaze. The sweet potato fries were also incredible. Oh, and then the Horchata is freezing! Perfect pairing for the light heat of most dishes. Will be back often!

Beautiful outdoor spot with so many menu options. Everything looked so good! I had the cabbage salad and an IPA. They also have amazing Banh Mi Sandwiches. Overall good vibes, good beer and food and attentive service. Very recommended.

Had the salmon bowl for lunch today. It was amazing. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The order was placed online and was able to drive and pick up. Also, I had not asked for a sesame seed, and the staff came out to explain that there was a sesame in the beautified spinach. What a great customer service to explain time.

Yesterday for the first time with some friends sitting here for lunch and it was incredibly delicious. The menu is endless. MANNY OPTIONS. I went with the Korean Beef Short Ribs Banh Mi and it was huge and incredible filling. The beef was super delicate and there were some spices to the sauce. My children enjoyed their rice bowl and fries. We had a group of 8 so unfortunately we had to sit in the sun as all their tables are for 2 or 4 that are under one umbrella. Besides baking in the sun it was a delicious meal and we will be back.

5 stars all around! They have super tasty food from basically three different restaurants, the beer selection is decent, and the staff was extremely friendly and fast. I'll definitely be coming back!
