Írjon visszajelzéstHubby and I had 3 course lunch menu can not fail, there was a good choice from all freshly cooked and imaginatiw presented services from the minute we went, we were met by staff who were cordially welcoming and we had nice service at our table highly recommended
The best restaurant in durham (admittedly, the city is not famous for its kitchen, but finbarr’s would be considered good in every location.) great food, well cooked and a good wine list. excellent wild and duck, local seafood and tasty haggis scotch eier. yummy souffle and mousse had been offered for dessert. really good brot. service not very slender we will return.
Nice atmosphere, friendly but somewhat slow service. High quality tasty food and lots of screens between tables. Would recommend!
Finbarr's is the best restaurant in Durham. Although the city isn't particularly known for its culinary scene, Finbarr's would hold its own anywhere. The food is fantastic—well-prepared and paired with a great wine list. The wild game and duck are excellent, and the local seafood and the delicious haggis Scotch egg are a must-try. For dessert, the soufflé and mousse are simply delightful. The bread is also very good. While the service was a bit inconsistent—one waitress seemed to be having an off day, but she warmed up by the evening—it didn't take away from the overall experience. We definitely plan to return.
The main dish I had was a Scotch rift, and it was absolutely delicious. The starter, baptismal breast, was quite good, but the other elements on the plate were just average. The presentation was quite outdated. The dining room, located upstairs, felt very claustrophobic. Overall, the atmosphere was rather unpleasant. If you close your eyes and concentrate solely on the food, you might enjoy the meal more; otherwise, you could find a better-decorated restaurant nearby.
