La Cecina #3 - Dyer

If you have a bit of patience, this restaurant is fantastic. The food is consistently fresh and well-prepared. The steaks are reliably good, and the mole has a nice thickness to it. The tortillas are incredible. While the service can be a bit slow, they do eventually attend to you, and I don't believe it's solely due to language or cultural differences. I highly recommend it.

The food is great for the price; my fajitas were delicious and loaded with meat. However, the service is what led to my 4-star rating. Our server was mostly absent and it took a while to receive our drinks.

The food was fantastic, but the service was quite slow. We visited for lunch when there were only two other tables occupied. One of my pet peeves is having to sit and wait for the bill so we can leave, and unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while.

This is my father's favorite Mexican restaurant. It's not your typical Mexican joint. They have really insecure dishes to die for. I'm more authentic. Really a hidden jewel.
