Írjon visszajelzéstMy spouse and I got married at Wild Eagle Lodge in early September and had our lunch reception at SAGE FINE DINING (formerly known as The Blue Heron). The service from the staff was outstanding, the food was delicious, and we were very impressed with the classic northwoods atmosphere of the venue. We have returned for the Marsala and duck dishes, which we loved! The harvest pumpkin cocktails were also amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!
I had dinner at The Blue Heron last night. The restaurant has returned to its charming and beautiful atmosphere. The food was superb and the service was exceptional. There was a small mistake, but it was handled professionally and with great friendliness. I would definitely go back again! The appetizers and salads were also delicious.
I just wanted to share a positive review of my recent visits to the Blue Heron Restaurant. My husband and I stayed at the Wild Eagle Lodge on the same property and dined at the restaurant twice during our stay. Both times, we were impressed with the delicious food. During our first visit, we enjoyed a wrap and a Rueben with Truffle fries, and during our second visit, we had fish dinners. We also tried some fun and creative cocktails, including the amazing Bloody Mary. The portions were generous, and we especially appreciated the complimentary bread and homemade cheese spread. The service was outstanding, and we even had a personal visit from the owner, which made our experience even more special. We had engaging conversations with the staff and had such a great time that we decided to come back for a second visit. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend visiting the Blue Heron Restaurant. We can't wait to go back!
What happened to this place? I hadn’t been here in awhile and used to love it. This used to be one of the best places in town to eat. Now it’s just sad. Empty, but took 40 minutes to get served. The chicken Alfredo was so bland it was like milk on pasta with plain chicken, the “chicken bites” appetizer was an over cooked chicken breast with franks red sauce on it. The pretzel i was expecting a warm pretzel with hot cheese dip… it was hard pretzels with cold beer dip, the kind you bring to a bbq. Are you kidding? Bring back the old menu or cook!
New seafood boil is delicious. Seafood is flown in for specials, that day they had gorgeous swordfish steaks from Hawaii. Parking: Parking is in hotel lots
