We've been driving by this spot for a couple years. I've read countless positive reviews. Tonight a table for 6....all neighbors. BYOB Margaritas . These folks brought top notch food out of their kitchen. What a delicious treat. Highlights include: El Volcan Especial for 2 appetizer platter. We shared this along with chips and salsa. Burrito with Red Sauce Burrito with Green Sauce Encebollado with steak, grilled onions, queso and avocado . The Showstopper.. El Volcan Especial Dinner for 1 or 2 Served in a flaming hot molcajete with chicken, chorizo, steak, shrimp, cactus, cheese in guajillo sauce. Served with rice and beans. You'll be transported. Dessert Tonight were Churros with Chocolate and Flan. Both were perfect. Service is friendly, attentive and helpful navigating the menu. El Volcan is not fancy. The dining room is simple, clean and spacious with tables and booths. The food may very well be the best Mexican in our area. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room and food options for everyone. Parking: No issues Parking in front, side and back. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from parking lot. Entrance and dining room will accommodate. I did not use the restroom. Dietary restrictions: Our server offered options for heat level of dishes and dietary needs of one of us.

This restaurant offers an authentic experience with friendly staff and great food. The portions and presentation were satisfying, particularly the fajitas which I really enjoyed. Other menu items were also delicious, although the rice was just okay. The service was good overall, and I would recommend trying the Fish Tacos and Skirt Steak Fajita. The atmosphere was decent, making it a great spot for a lunchtime meal. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30.

This place is fantastic! The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the staff is very helpful. It's perfect for anyone new to Spanish cuisine. Don't forget to leave space for dessert!
