Humphrey Pete's - Early

When we travel through Brownwood Texas we love stopping here for a meal. We have always been treated with kindness and a friendly smile. The staff is professional and warm hearted. The price won't hurt your pocket especially the lunch menu. Plenty of good food to choose from and wonderful indoor or outdoor seating.Kid-friendliness: There is a playground for children.

We are dinner here twice while staying in Brownwood. Very good steaks, cooked perfectly. Reuben sandwich was great also.

Great place with some variety of food. Something for the salad lover, the steak lover, breakfast, and everything in between. I was impressed with the freshness of the salad. The staff we're friendly and helpful in deciding what to eat. The decor was rustic and fun. We will definitely be back to try some other options.

Excellent food and prices. I like the decorations inside.

We were pleasantly surprised after eating here. We got the Pete’s Feast and everything was delicious! All meats were seasoned and cooked to a T and our baked potatoes were perfectly cooked as well. We then rounded it off with the apple pie rum skillet which was also delicious! Definitely will be returning.
