Bobbin Cafe - East Ayrshire

Popped in here unexpectedly today for a lunch. Lovely soup, soft rolls and nice scone with a pot of tea. Friendly atmosphere, clean and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will return if I’m back in the area again.

We go walking in Newmilns about once a month and always eat here. It is only open until 3 so walk quickly! It is inexpensive,provides homely and nourishing food but most of all the staff were just lovely They also have homemade tablet!

Lovely wee part of the country and an inviting little cafe. Really friendly, personalised service. Home cooking with traditional old school items on the menu. Excellent prices, will definitely return.

Here in Newmilns using a local AirBnB and found this place on trip advisor. Thought we would use it for breakfast as we were only staying three days. Great place, friendly staff, prompt service. Would recommend the coffee Nescafe in a proper mug and not afraid to tell you. Good quality meat in my roll and sausage. Great value too (Roll and two pieces of proper Scottish square sausage £1.75). On a second visit had the full breakfast also great. Would definitely recommend. One a final note the home made Tablet (no not an iPad) on sale at the counter is fantastic and much better than the shop bought stuff from Mrs Tilley. Grab some to take with you.
