The Coffee Pot - East Ayrshire

On a cold day, with a hankering for something hot to eat, we made a pit stop at the Coffee Pot while passing through Cumnock. It's more of a classic café than a typical coffeehouse, with a menu featuring Scottish classics like macaroni cheese, mince and chips, haggis, soups, and a variety of hot filled rolls (including one with minced meat). They also offer more exotic options like chicken tempura. We opted for a couple of ranch burgers that were cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was warm and friendly, making this café a fantastic choice overall.

The restaurant offers outstanding customer service and a diverse selection of delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The ambiance is perfect for a dining experience.

This coffee shop exudes a nostalgic charm that is becoming increasingly hard to come by. We had the pleasure of visiting three times during our stay and were delighted by the scrumptious cakes. The unexpected offering of chips in a roll was also a delightful touch. If you ever find yourself in Cumnock, don't miss the opportunity to visit this hidden gem of a coffee shop.

Driving through Cummnock one Saturday, we needed a snack. We saw this place, which had loads of parking across the road. Everything about it was great. It was light and spacious with lots of room between the tables. Service was great. Toilet clean. The food was marvellous, basic Scottish food, and a reasonable price. Lots of all day breakfast options. Maybe mince rolls are often offered in Ayrshire, but I've not seen then in years. My husband had a mince roll and scrambled egg roll, both so good he'd like to go back. I had mince on a baked potato, also good, though next time I'll have the roll. Definitely recommend this place.
