Dennys Kitchen - East Geelong

Went there for lunch on the weekend. Friendly staff, but the place really was not a atmosphere. The Aranchi balls were good and so was the pizza. We also had a praying prete salad that was fine, but the beat was missing. The risotto was quite average and too cheesy.

Denny's Italian food in the National Wollmuseum, Geelong. Spacious with very relaxed voice trees. Free WiFi. The Barramundi, Calamari and Salad tasted fresh enough and was pleasant as a whole.

Had lunch at 11:50 am here today & chose their Ravioli (fresh pasta filled with spinach & ricotta, sautéed with mushroom, asparagus & watercress) at $22. Seriously it was just okay, flavour was nice but it lacked something to make it a little more moist on the palate. Service provision was great by Deb the waitress who I found to be polite, attentive and efficient. The ambiance was one of a busy venue with the background music at a level that could be heard over although as the eatery became busier around 12:30 pm onwards the music could hardly be heard. The staff were all night, which is very refreshed in the Geelong Hospitality industry. They knew the menu and offered good advice. The gnocchi was amazing! Will certainly be back.

I visited Denny a few times for family picking up, and I'm really impressed. Grief Grief Beautiful Italian food, but also interesting. The pizzas are quite uncomplicated, but very delicious. The dishes are not tremendous amounts of food, but with fresh and delicious ingredients they are certainly appropriate value. Grief The staff are very good, friendly and attentive without deleting. Grief For something else slightly different, try the polenta chips and the Insalata di Tono, it will also be the joyful carnivor.
