The Rush Hour Cafe - East Geelong

The food is average and the service is terrible - especially from the blonde lady with the miserable look on her face

I've tried most of the cafes in the area and this one is consistently good in making great soy flat whites that *really are* flat whites (ie not full of froth), taste great, and for a great price. They also make fresh sandwiches to order and you pay the one reasonable price no matter how much you choose to put in it. For anyone working in the area this is the only cafe I would recommend for a lunch that is simple, tasty and affordable. They also do a delicious vegan couche which I've had a few times. They have salads that make a full meal all on their own. Also burgers, BLTs, muffins, slices, breakfasts....pretty much whatever you can think of.

I have recently moved to geelong, and started working across the road from here and sage institute and I must say the young boy (don't no if his owner or not) makes the place more enjoyable! Not only remembers customers faces but their names and orders too! I've only been here a handful of times and he already remembers. As for the food, it's had it's good and bad days. I decided to try something from the kitchen but the wait was so long. Only 1 chef working so I stick to the wraps or amazing focaccias!! Keep up the good work guys and girls.

A large, open friendly cafe with good atmosphere. However, I suspect they may have forgotten to bring out our breakfast... When it did arrive it was lacking, cold and less than appetizing (the hash browns where positively ceramic). Given other reviews, perhaps just an glitch.

Recently been visiting this place and tried the coffee.... must say was very pleased with the prompt service and some great tasting coffee. Have also tried few wraps and they are superb served with a generous amount of salad!!!!! Will be a regular now.....
