Bread From Heaven - East Hartford

I have to give this bakery, especially since it's a Spanish one, a solid 5 stars. It's the only one on Main Street in East Hartford that's open every day. Their coffee is excellent, and the bread they serve is fantastic. They offer many other delicious items as well!

The Cuban sandwich was quite tasty, and the young woman who works there is likely the fastest sandwich maker I've ever encountered. She's also incredibly friendly, so definitely give it a try!

I recently visited to see if the bread was really as amazing as people say. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered to make several different types of sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch. I decided to try the Cuban sandwich and the bread pudding. My wife really enjoyed the Cuban, praising both the bread and the pork. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the bread pudding; its texture was more like flan. I definitely plan to return to try their breakfast sandwiches.

I called and was put on hold for over 10 minutes while the staff chatted about moving locations. When I tried to call back, the phone was still off the hook. I decided to go in person, but the wait was terrible. The sandwiches were disappointing; the ingredients were low quality, with tough ham and unpleasant mayo. I definitely don’t recommend this place at all.
