Írjon visszajelzéstI went for Sunday lunch, but I have been here many times before. The beef was delicious, with perfectly cooked fat, and the gravy was amazing! I would rate it 10 out of 10.
I frequent this restaurant often with my family. The customer service is excellent and the food is fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
When the burger arrived, it was served in a sweet, orange brioche bun that I found to be too sweet. The chips were over-fried and the lettuce was bland. I asked for gravy to go with the burger, as it was dry, but was told that burgers are supposed to be that way. To my dismay, after finishing the venison I wanted, I learned that they had venison pie and mash on offer, which I would have preferred. The gravy I requested never arrived, and neither did the portion of mash that I had asked for. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience and will not be returning to this restaurant.
Had a lovely meat for 2 last week. The food was well presented and delicious, as well as very reasonably priced for such a nice cut of beef and the Lemon sole special. Will definitely be back for more
This Inn was recommended by a fellow dog owner/caravanner. We popped over from Dunbar campsite (with four French bulldogs) and found they were super dog friendly indoors/outdoors! In the beer garden/courtyard we were welcomed by a lovely guy who came out with fresh water bowl and biscuits for the dogs. Following on from him, a lovely, chatty waitress (who complimented my snaffle bracelet, she also had horses). The menu was varied and we picked the Cajun chicken burger and cod/tomato and potatoes. It was perfect food! Whoever they have as a chef was spot on with the cooking..even the side of coleslaw was amazing. Service was good too. Although we take a blanket and our dogs are trained to stay put, what would be handy is a hook somewhere on the wooden benches to loop leads over?! Highly recommend the place.
