Damion’s Rib Haven - East Moline

My wife and I love trying local BBQ places when visiting a new area. Well, we definitely weren 't disappointed with Damion 's Rib Haven!You can smell the smoke when you walk through the door.The smoke on the ribs penetrated all the way to the bone, and the meat fell off the bones. The chicken had a wonderful smokeyness to it, too. Both were covered in BBQ sauce, which also had a great smokeyness to it, too. It was a MESS to eat, but you don 't go to a BBQ place if you 're afraid of getting a bit messy!The mac and cheese was surprisingly garlicky, but very good.The BBQ spaghetti was good, though not knock-your-socks-off good.My wife didn 't care for the potato salad. All she could taste was the mustard. But that was our only real complaint with the food.The staff was super-friendly and very helpful when we had questions.I 'd suggest better signage outside. The locals definitely knew about this place, but the sign outside confusingly says Breakfast at Berries. Clever, but confusing.All-in-all, a wonderful experience. If we 're in the area again, we 'll definitely be stopping again!

Best restaurant in town. Great service, great food, great prices. Home made fries. BBQ Taco? 's are a must. If you want the best ribs pulled pork sandwiches in town; Wed. Sat. get there early...!!!

Did you ever get a half rack of ribs and say "Where 's the rest? "NOT HERE. 6 bones with 2 strips of meat on each. Sides were beans and slaw. All homemade. I 'm very happy and full. You 'll like it here.

Small Menu but great meal. The BBQ menu isn't anything fancy, but bbq doesn't have to be. I got a two piece chicken, mild, with a side of potato salad. The potato salad was good, very mustard heavy, just wasn't like I wanted from a potato salad. The chicken however was fantastic. It went well with the sauce and had a great smokey flavor on the skin. Next time we are in Moline we will have to try some more of the menu selection.

1st time ever going to this location and it was ???. Despite the fact I wanted a pulled beef dinner but they were out of beef and all white chicken, but the owner gave me deal due to the inconvenience all was well. Going again ???
