GIN 45 - East Northport

Start off with Erin, our bartender/server was amazing and was the most welcoming and friendly bartender. We've been there once before, but now because of her great service we will keep this place in mind next time we want to go out to dinner! Food was amazing as well!

Had a Wonderful Dinner at Gin 45 this evening. Service was wonderful and the food was exceptional good. Quaint spot with a great vibe, we will be back.

This was our third time Gin 45 so I feel obligated to write a review when each time the food and service have been fantastic. It 's also something special when a local establishment can deliver consistently good food 3x in a row, especially as an(admittedly) jaded 55 year old restaurant enthusiast. Today was the Chilean sea bass oreganata (a special) for me and my wifehad her chicken over pappardelle dish modified without any problem or pushback. Again, both delicious. My usual go to is astandard menu item: the seafood pappardelle. It 's incredibly tasty with enough portion for a take home snack if you don 'toverstuff yourself. Decor is nice and the bar runs the length of the restaurant and looks comfortable enough to sit at ifeating at the bar is your thing. If I had to make a criticism (which is more of a recommendation), I would suggest addingactual white tablecloths for dinner service. Again it 's a really nice space and the decor is good but tablecloths would give ita more upscale Instagram-able vibe and would also make the current prices seem an even better deal for the quality of thefood. We are really happy we tried this place 2+ months ago as I see it being our new local default.

My man and I together with another couple decided to try gin 45 after reading some good reviews. we are always looking for new places. we went there tonight and could not have been disappointed. although the waiting staff was very nice and friendly, the service was terrible. it took forever to get a drink and we finally ordered our food after we were there an hour. there were 4 people waiting for us who were part of the problem I thought. getting a second drink was almost impossible. it was like we forgot. my friend and I ordered the supposed thunfish. it was fishy and dry and we both sent it back when I couldn't eat it. I replaced it with a chicken pesto sandwich that was in order. my man had the pappadelle with garnel and scallops. the scallops were the size of the inherited. that is not exaggerated. another person in our group had a gin burger who looked like a frozen bark patty, and he claimed it was extremely dry and tasteless. they were very good. the mixed drinks were expensive. one around and coke was $14. on the top the appetizers were very good. we have the bretzel and the fried zucchini sticks. gin 45, we will not come back. eating is a tasty bite and with a negative experience is disappointing.
