Mr Chu China Palace

We visited this restaurant while staying at a nearby cottage. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One person in our group had a nut allergy, and the owner personally assured us that they would take all necessary precautions to keep her safe. The prices were a bit on the high side, but for a special occasion, it was worth it. If we lived closer, we probably wouldn't visit often because of the cost.

Our first time sitting in the restaurant following on from a takeaway 12 months ago. Stunning decor really added to the ambiance, attentive staff that were extremely friendly and helpful and the most amazing food served up generously in size and bursting with flavours. Top marks all round and we can't wait to come back.

The food at this restaurant was cold and flavorless. We came here for a romantic dinner after a long week of work. The staff was friendly, but the quality of the food was disappointing.

First time visiting tonight 25/08/23 with my Wife. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, great service and nice fresh hot tasty food. We opted for the banquet A for 2 people, very nice food but too much for us. We asked to take this home for our Son and was given the food in takeaway tubs. Great service, and we’ll be back!

We nearly didn’t go because we had read a few bad reviews, but decided to risk it! We needn’t have worried though as everything was excellent. Food was delicious; we had the banquet for two. Staff were lovely, service was good; we couldn’t fault it. Will definitely go again!
