Meaty N Green - East Stroudsburg

Loved not only the food, but the hospitality and also both ingenious...loved my experience eating in the facility nearby and personally with one of the owners made me feel right at home. We spoke as if we had met for years... would repeat visits... Food and iced tea to the point!

If I could give this place a million stars I would. The food here was mind blasting! The fried chicken I had was so flavorful and moist. The mac and cheese was excellent, and I don't know what magic was performed, but those were the best collared greens I have ever tasted. If you are in the area this is a MUST STOP dining experience!

The food was the bomb DOT com! Ms Tammy, our waitress, cook and owner was super nice and accommodating. The Mac and cheese is definitely in my top 5! We all had different meals and everything was delicious.

We heard there was a newer restaurant in the Stroudsburg area that has great Southern Cuisine/Soul food. My family just had to seek it out. Wow, so glad we did. We ordered Catfish, Jerk chicken, Fried chicken, and Shrimp. Also, Mac cheese, Collards, and yams. FANTASTIC!!!! On top of a great meal Miss Tammy was a delightful host. We found a gem of a restaurant. We WILL be back when we are in the area. Highly recommend!!! Mario

This restaurant offers the best Southern cuisine north of the Carolinas. The sweet tea is just right, and both the cornbread and mac and cheese are homemade. The shrimp and grits feature large, genuine shrimp, and the chicken wings are cooked to perfection. Our server, Tammy, was outstanding and very friendly.
