Big Boy - East Tawas

Had to wait 30min to be served, not on busy day. Chilli was slimy and tasteless.

On Tuesday 9-3-24 @3:30 Classic Big Boy burger was dry overcooked and burnt. Manager just says that is how we fix them so you want something different you will have to let us know. Crazy who cooks burnt burgers? Then couldn't even see the sauce or lettuce in it. Next time I want a lousy burger I will go to fast food where it's cheaper. Bummed, I was really looking for the Big boy classic burger. Manager was sloppy and unprofessional. Daughter asked for more tea and waitress just kept filling catsup then went to give another customer a drink. What a disappointment with food and poor response from manager. Will not be going there again.

Absolutely horrible food. The Big Boy Classic was extremely over cooked and disgustingly dry. Server said nothing other then I'll get my manager. The manager has zero clue on how to handle the situation. Will not be back. EDIT to respond to Owner: We arrived at 3:45 pm.

Our camping group of 14 stopped in Saturday Labor Day Weekend . We arrived at a perfect time 9:00 am. On our way to Harrisville for the craft show. We were seated promptly and orders taken. We had hoped for the breakfast buffet like several others that came in after to, to be told and hear told. Sorry. That is tomorrow : Nonetheless. We all ordered different things from the classic breakfasts to big boys and beyond. Everyone made comments about how good things were. Hot and filling. Big boys hot, buns soft, fries crisp. My breakfast was hot. Hash browns cooked crisp like I like them and pancakes tasty. Our server was very attentive and we had everything we needed quickly. Thank you and we will be back for sure : . On a holiday weekend when almost everyone walking in the door is expecting that breakfast buffet. Several disappointed people still sat and ate, but maybe adjust this offering for this special weekend : . Just a suggestion. See you next trip for sure.

Big Boy has always been my favorite Northern Michigan sit down restaurant. One of the only restaurants with a soup and salad bar that is always maintained with homemade pasta salads and we just found out there is a breakfast bar on Sunday. Stellar!!! Food and service is great in East Tawas! I live close and will return!!
