Sunrise - Eastleigh

I usually order through Uber Eats or dine in at this restaurant and I am always really happy with the food and the atmosphere. However, the delivery I received this evening was disappointing. It seems like there may have been a change in chefs because the popadoms were missing, the sag aloo was tasteless, and the chicken tikka was chewy and cold. The samosa was the only enjoyable part of the £30 order. I was really disappointed with my experience.

My family from Manchester and I came to this restaurant on a Sunday evening and received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. We ordered delicious food and drinks, including Rogan Josh, Madras, Bhuna, and the intriguingly named Davedush. We also had rice, one of which wasn't on the menu but was brought to us without any issue. We enjoyed Bhajee, garlic naan, and Bombay potatoes. It was a feast and we finished everything on our plates. My partner and I come here every 2 months and always have a wonderful time. Our relatives who were visiting from out of town said it was the best Indian restaurant they had ever been to, and I have to agree.

As always, we enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal. This time, we ordered takeout. They have a great variety of vegetarian dishes to choose from. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Very disappointed with the quality of the takeaway. The food tasted extremely bland and soup like, also the chicken was rubbery and unpalatable. The whole meal seemed to be thrown together without any real effort or care! The takeaway food is very different to the food served in the restaurant. Will not be returning for another takeaway!

Used to love coming here with my brother as they where the best indian around. However on this occasion i was very disappointed. Ordered a chicken taja, was shocked when it turned up, 5 very small pieces of chicken and it tasted very bland. Upon complaining to the owner he was very dismissive giving the impression that making a quick buck is more important than customer satisfaction. Will be going back to my favorite restaurant in romsey.
