Vegetables were old and thick, it feels like they buy subgrade vege from the wholesale market. They serve dry stirfry too. When I asked what's the price diff between stirfry and soup, the lady behind the cashier said "not much" and refused to elaborate further. When i paid at the counter, it turned out stirfry was $34/kg and soup was $24/kg. 30% price diff is not much????? And with dry pot, it was $34/kg + $5 base. There was no mention of this and no price tag anywhere in the shop!!!! I could have reported them to fair trade. They also serve alcohol which I suspect they do not have license to serve alcohol. Will not be back. Please try Malatang to avoid disappointment. Any dry stirfry along Dixon St in the cbd would be better than this place honestly.

My favorite place for hotpot. they have one of the best tasting ma la tang! the quantity is good at cheap price. it is a small, cozy place for eating up to 2 am.
Came here to try the malatang. they also offer a dry version. there is a station where they can customize their own dip sauce or add it to tour supp own base. ingredients are decently fresh taste: 3.75/5 worth: 4/5
For the suppe there are various levels of seasoning and anesthetic pfeffer. they also offer wok fried with rice and vegetarian clear suppe basic options if they do not feel soup-y. additional free toppings such as coriander, leak, dried chili, nuts, sauces and more chili are also available.
