Southside Cafe - Eden Isle

We've been coming for many years and the food has always been incredible

My first time trying Southside Café after passing it a thousand times, and after reviewing the reviews, I had to try. Sure enough, I see why everyone is ecstatic about Southside Café. This place is Phenomenal!! I had the Ribeye Philly and it was Spot On, and it was so tender. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan and said it was prepared perfectly. The staff was friendly and fast and the restaurant was really clean. However, be prepared to wait a while because on a Saturday night it was very busy by the way, the Menu Selection of food and beverages is nearly endless. Now the Price. In today's world of high prices, I was surprised to see that Southside Cafe was able to keep their prices very affordable. This is definitely a restaurant I will be going back to again in the near future. Y'all check them out and see what you think.

Great meal a a fair price. I love the military theme. You will always find sports playing on multiple screens. I always get the French dip sandwich. My favorite restaurant in Slidell.

Our table spun around on its base and needed maintenance. This was a nuisance during our meal. Food okay here. May have misordered. Mashed potatoes on husband’s meal were really good. Gumbo was ok, not great. Club sandwich, bacon was burnt, but lots of ham and turkey. Couldn’t finish because it’s large. House salad was very good other than half of the salad being the core of the head of lettuce. Server Kim was really nice and checked in several times with us.
