Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Eden Prairie

This will likely be my final visit to this restaurant. My husband and I used to love it, but the quality has significantly worsened in the past year. The portion sizes have decreased while the prices have increased. I ordered the sesame chicken with noodles, but there was hardly any chicken and even fewer noodles on my plate. We also got the salad shells, but the salad portions were so small that we couldn't even place the chicken on them; we had to use a fork to eat the filling. We ended up spending over $40 for just two small lunch bowls and the salad packs! I won’t be coming back.

Oh boy, this place has really gone downhill. It should probably be shut down; the food is just terrible. This was my last visit to Pei Wei, a place I once loved, but not anymore. I ordered the sesame chicken with noodles, while my wife opted for the General Tso's chicken. Both dishes contained only a few tiny pieces of chicken, paired with poorly cooked broccoli and yellow noodles that didn't taste good. The sauce was sour and lacked any spices, with an overpowering ginger flavor. The chicken egg roll was also disappointing, and the fried rice, which used to be great here, was dry and bland. To top it off, you have to pay an extra $14 to swap noodles for rice. We spent $34 for subpar food, and that's just unacceptable!

I had the spicy drunken noodles, which were indeed spicy, but they lacked much flavor. They were saltier than any other Asian food I've tried. However, the staff was friendly and was happy to answer my questions about the menu.

I'm so disappointed. We loved coming here. We weren't close for long, but we found ourselves in the area and decided to stop. Things are really downhill. The food prep and expedite area were a total mess boxes everywhere, messy counters. We ordered a Winton appetizer, 2 meals and 2 drinks and it was $37! The storms were understated and greasy. Meals were sour, salty. I honestly had better frozen meals. We will not be back, which is regrettable, as this place was so great earlier.

Paid 10$ for 4 pieces of soggy chicken and my rice DRENCHED in sauce. My fiancé?s lettuce wraps were super salty. The only good thing that tasted good was edamame which costs about 5$ and only had about 20 pieces. Super disappointed. I could have made better food at home for way less.
