Bianco Blu - Edgewater

It was Mother's Day, and despite the restaurant being fully booked, the general manager, Buddy, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience! He even treated us to a complimentary dessert. Just be prepared to wait a bit, as the food is made to order and fresh. We'll definitely be coming back!

Our food was very good, but the portions were a bit small and a bit pricey. Our service was awful, but it was Mother’s Day and they had a table of 25 to deal with and only 2 waiters and 2 bus people for the whole restaurant. We will give them another try (not on a holiday) because we enjoyed the food. Please note, the restaurant entrance is difficult to find, as it’s in an apartment complex with no signage. Call ahead to get specific directions.

The food itself was fantastic overall, except for the stale bread we were served. Our waiter was friendly, which was nice, but strangely enough, they didn’t have a wine list available. One of the staff suggested a bottle, and fortunately, I asked about the price just before he opened it—$120! He seemed taken aback when I opted for the house red instead. Shortly after, a different staff member inquired if we wanted a prosciutto appetizer. Given my unease from the wine situation, I declined—was it complimentary? The menu offered some appealing choices, though I was puzzled as to why nearly all the appetizers were seafood-based. My husband ordered the salmon special, which was excellent, but we were shocked to see that it cost $46 once the bill arrived. We also tried the tiramisu, which was disappointing—it needed at least three times as much mascarpone and coffee, as it was incredibly dry. By the time we finished dessert, our waiter was overwhelmed with a bachelorette party and another large group, and unfortunately, he had little assistance from the other waitstaff, who walked by us for 20 minutes without acknowledging us while we waited for our check. I’m giving this place 3 stars because running a restaurant during COVID is undeniably tough, and I would be open to giving them another chance.

They have very very yummy food. The waiters are kind and fast paced but the food takes the longest time to come. But once the food comes it’s always good.

Great authentic italian food. Would definetly recommend, nice ambiance.
