Patisserie Margo - Edina

This charming bakery and coffee shop has a wonderful ambiance and exceptionally friendly staff. While the baked goods are tasty, they are a bit pricey. The coffee and soups are excellent as well, though also on the expensive side. Overall, it’s worth a visit, but be ready to spend a little more than expected.

I've visited this place numerous times for their take-out pastries, which are definitely above average, especially the croissants and scones. Today, we decided to have lunch there. The sandwich menu features the classics, and I chose a ham baguette. It was a straightforward, satisfying sandwich, and when paired with the lentil and Italian sausage soup, it was an excellent combination.

Since we couldn’t travel to Paris, we decided to stop by Margos on our way out of town to pick up some treats for my partner's birthday. The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, and patient as we made our choices. The macaroons are absolutely delightful! They are baked to perfection, light and fluffy, and bursting with flavor. If you have the chance, definitely try the dark chocolate passion fruit—it's rich and tangy, like a sweet disco party in your mouth. We also enjoyed the salted caramel pistachio, which was fantastic! We still have a cherry tart, a citrus tart, and a chocolate dream dome waiting for us, but we couldn't resist sharing our experience with the macaroons. Next time we're in the Twin Cities, we'll definitely return to Margos.

I like going to bakeries and Margo was the one on my lists. Basically their almond and ham and cheese croissants were good. Also I think the price is quite affordable compared to other bakeries in uptown so I like here a lot and I think I'll visit again and again.

I came because of the great reviews and I have to agree, these are the best croissants I've had in the Twin Cities! I also got the raspberry muffin which is just amazing! I will definitely be coming here again for these delicious pastries!!!
