Luby's - Edinburg

My wife and I usually go midday to avoid the lunch and the long line. we eat here a few times in the month and eating is always fresh, hot and well prepared. the food handlers are friendly and move in a good pace, without feeling hastened. Good atmosphere and table server are helpful and friendly.

I absolutely love the chicken fried chicken! I get a side of mashed potatoes and either macaroni or green beans.. very delicious!!!! This time I got a chocolate cake... Its for chocolate lovers very sweet...i prefer the cheese cake its delicious with strawberry graze on top. Waiters are very nice amd attentive to refills or extra gravy

Luby's was really good! We went there at 11:00 a.m. for Thanksgiving lunch and we all got something different. There was 4 of us. Everybody's food was delicious and the service was very good and the lady was very attentive to our needs. Everything couldn't have been better. Thanks to Luby's for making our Thanksgiving lunch the best.

Mandatory masks due to covid 19 Ordering was simple and the restaurant staff handled their service with ppe. They were the only ones allowed to dispense beverages, but that wasn't a problem. Wait staff was attentive and courteous. Excellent food and service!

I don’t think they had it all together in the back. Had to wait for jalapeño tilapia for 20 min, then when they brought it...it didn’t have jalapeños! Food got cold quick. There was a couple practically fondling each other towards the back of the restaurant. Management should’ve addressed them or something...sheesh. At least their deserts were good. Yeah, probably not coming back. The one in Pharr is wayyy better.
