Holy Cow - Edinburgh

Eating and atmosphere were great! a little tricky to find that it is under the street level and they should be able to see it.

A lovely fully vegan place was a bit challenging to find at first as the restaurant located down the stairs. I came for dinner and took their Pad Thai salad with tofu, a green smoothie and for dessert their Victoria cake. the pad thai was tasty although the coconut taste in the sauce was a bit too strong, the tofu was a bit harsh but I love the taste of it, and as for the smoothie, it felt very fresh, not sweet at all and quite healthy. as for the cake I love the touch of cranberries and strawberries on top, the cream was sweet but the sponge part was a bit dense .and dry at the edge the restaurant design is cozy and has a great ambiance with plants and some cool art on the walls, the service was lovely and the food came out pretty quickly.

I'm from Glasgow and when I knew i was coming through to Edinburgh I had to try this place. Extremely Highly recommend this place. I had the quarter pounder the coffee cake with tea. I'm 100% coming back, try one of the other fantastic burgers they have. Waitress recommended a fantastic burger . Friendly staff, lovely decor and amazing food in an amazing city. What more could you ask for

Here I tasted the most delicious vegan burgers of all time! I also enjoyed the vegan Tiramisù. the Christmas decoration in the shop and the friendly service provide a very cozy atmosphere. well made the holy kuh must be a happy kuh

A great little restaurant, just a few tables, but eating was brilliant! definitiw a recommendation to others and will return in the future.
