The Wee Cafe Newington - Edinburgh

We had a birthday party in the private room upstairs and I cannot thank James and his staff enough. They were fantastic from start to finish, allowing us to decorate early and assisting us throughout the event. We ordered a variety of the Sharing platters which were perfectly timed and delicious, with gluten-free options available. They gave us the space to enjoy our party and it was wonderful to be able to celebrate until 1 am. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Mockingbird restaurant was amazing and went above and beyond to help us organize a hen party last minute. They provided us with their private room where we could decorate, play our own music, and have a great time without disrupting anyone else. The buffet they put on was delicious and the service from the staff was top-notch - they were friendly and very helpful. When I mentioned to Georgie that it was a hen party, she even suggested using her mother who specializes in organizing hen parties. We were able to contact her and she was fantastic! Thank you to the Mockingbird crew, we had a fantastic time!

The staff at Mockingbird was wonderful and not overly intrusive. The food was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I booked the function room for a work team building meeting. It was great! We put a few pieces of flip chart up on the mirrors, got through our agenda in the private room and then heading downstairs to the main bar for after work drinks. No fee to use the space and the staff were really helpful and friendly, thanks again!
