The risotto is outstanding! The broccoli is delicious! You get personal attention due to the coziness. Ambience is spot on. You can watch the chefs prepare food as well! Clay and his wife made my birthday dinner extremely special! I suggest a port post dinner. It's served with Bleu cheese crumbles and candied pecans. We had the calamari appetizer as well. I'm looking very forward to going back.
This place is a somewhat hidden gem. Very unassuming from the outside being tucked away in a shopping center. It's quite small, reservations are highly recommended. The food is some of the best in the state. Absolutely incredible. The duck confit was perfect and the scallops were delicious. My husband had the duck and it was also cooked to perfection. I could rave about the food all day. It is expensive, but well worth the cost. Our server left something to be desired. He was kind of all over the place and messed up multiple times throughout dinner. He was very friendly, just not what you would expect when paying that much for dinner. (Messed up our appetizer order, brought cold/old coffee, put dishes on top of food we asked to be boxed, dropped multiple things throughout the evening). This may have been an off day for him, and it's not enough to keep me from going back in the future. The chefs know exactly what they're doing and are top of the line. You will have to look far and wide to find better food. Truly, just amazing. Try the mushroom soup for an appetizer or lunch! All in all, we enjoyed our visit and dinner. I would have definitely given 5 stars had our server been a bit more together. We will give this place another try for certain.
The only way you could give this a bad review, is if you were trying to keep a table open for yourself! The food is impeccable, complex, well seasoned, and made right in front of you down to the sauce. The atmosphere is thoughtful, romantic, low lit, and intimate. The staff are attentive, kind, and energetic. The prices are upper range, but reasonable for what you receive. We've never left hungry, that's for sure. Cleanliness is great. Enjoy each course. The duck confit is a favorite, such a unique flavor that I've never had anything like that. The food is as upscale as it gets for Edmond, but still tasty enough a country boy can survive. This is a perfect romantic date location. My husband and I love this for anniversary dinners. Recently I had a hospital visit and after surgery this was all I wanted to eat. We were not dressed as well as I prefer, but loopy and hunger the kids (my drivers for the day) weren't going to argue with me. I was able to first hand experience the treatment of you're not in fine dining attire. Santiago treated our family like friends, we were welcome with open arms and I was served as if I wasn't in yoga pants and bandages. I felt just as special as the evenings I put on a gown with my life. I really appreciate when you can enjoy a good meal any time, whether special or daily dress, and receive the exact same treatment. This wowed me... thank you so much! Reservations ARE needed, they often can get you in on a shorter notice with weekdays. Price per person can range from $50-150, depending on how many courses you want. Steaks run about 40 and plates about 30. I know that seems steep, but it is WELL worth it. This is a perfect place to celebrate life and between the flavors and the staff treatment, it has NEVER hurt me to pay my tab. There are some things you just are happy to buy. This dinner will be one of those things. There is a beverage menu and although I don't drink, guests near me often compliment the taste of their cocktail. If I lived in Edmond, we would eat here weekly, at minimum. Do try it. You'll love it.
Awesome selection of tasty steaks, fish, shell fish and specials. The side dishes are really good also. Have a great selection of wines to choose from by the bottle or some by the glass. And of course, if you like an adult beverage. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Going early in the week is not as crowded. It is not very big and on the weekend can be noisy. Desserts are also awesome. Reservations are a must.
Best restaurant we 've tried in a LONG time! It 's very small intimate. Dimly lit. And pretty loud. Since it is small, you can see into the kitchen. It was cool seeing flames shoot up! We were a party of four. Two had cocktails two did not. The cocktails were pretty good from what I was told. I can 't remember what they were, though. Bread is brought out for the table. I can 't eat much bread, so I just had a bite. It had a familiar taste to it that is best described as 'breakfast sausage '. Sounds weird, huh? Well it wasn 't. It was sooo good! Food ordered was: ribeye with cabernet sauce fingerling potatoes; Chilean sea bass with broccolini green beans with Italian sausage; filet with bleu cheese, fingerling potatoes roasted mushrooms; and duck breast with fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts. We all tried each other 's, we just had to! The ribeye was terrific. The sauce was fairly stout, so that is probably best on the side. The filet was tender. The bleu cheese was a bit much not a fan of it in general. The duck was a little gamey but pretty good! (My brother ordered that raved about it. My sea bass was fantastic! The sides were all so good, but my faves were the potatoes and the green beans. The brussel sprouts were really close. We were too full for dessert, but we stayed and chatted for a bit. We never felt rushed, and our glasses were never empty. Fantastic meal, fantastic waiter, and fantastic company! We are putting this in our rotation as there is much more we want to try!
