Subway - Edmond

I only have one issue with this Subway location. I typically order the wheat bread, but occasionally I opt for the white Italian bread. The last three times I ordered the white bread, it was extremely dry and flaked little pieces all over me with each bite. It was also quite tough. However, aside from this issue, I really enjoy eating at this Subway. I visit 2-4 times a week.

I am not sure who is training the employees at this restaurant, but they are not being trained properly. When I was 18 years old, I worked at one of the busiest Subways in the country. We were only allowed 2 minutes from the time a customer walked in the door until they sat down with their food. However, it took 20 minutes for me to get a sandwich made at this restaurant. Not only did it take a long time, but the bread seemed to be at least a day old, if not older. I was the 4th person in line when I entered the restaurant, and this has happened multiple times during lunch. There were only two people working during lunch, and one of them was on their third day. I did not see a manager there, and if they were there, they should have been helping with the lunch rush. The only reason I go to this restaurant is because it is the only sandwich shop near my work. I urge the management to properly train their employees so that they can be successful. It is not their fault that they seem to be struggling. If my experience improves, I will update my star rating.

The woman who helped my wife at the restaurant today was not only racist, but also unhygienic. She scratched herself with her hand inside her pants and then touched the bread without wearing gloves. She then gave my wife a disapproving look while taking her money for payment. We will not be returning to this restaurant and we will be contacting the health department.

The lady assisting my wife today was as racist as she was disgusting. She stuck her hand in her pants to scratch and then grabbed the bread with no gloves. Then had the audacity to give my wife a look of disgust while grabbing her money to accept payment. We are never going to the establishment again and we are definitely calling the health code inspector.

I’m not sure I’ve ever been here and they’re not out of something. Have been at least 3 times around 6 PM and they are out of meatballs. Cookies display was empty. First time in a long time they weren’t understaffed, I’ll give them that.
