Louisiana Purchase North - Edmonton

I came here for a belated Mother's Day celebration. My family and I had previously visited the downtown location years ago and had a great experience. This location lived up to our expectations. The interior decor was impressive, the service was very friendly, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, it was a great place to celebrate.

This place is amazing and definitely worth a try. The seafood was excellent and our waitress was fantastic. I just wish I had remembered to get her name.

I visited this restaurant for my partner's birthday and had a wonderful time. Our drinks and appetizers arrived promptly. For our main course, we chose the steamboat jambalaya, which was absolutely delicious. The portion size was very generous and could easily have fed three people, so we ended up with plenty of leftovers. Our server, Brittany, was extremely kind and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we definitely plan on returning in the future.

Loved the food, service and atmosphere of this place! The best appetizer is a must try and the meals were very large and could be easily divided. We tried many of the things on the menu and everything was beautiful! Fried green tomatoes, Mac and cheese, the fish, both types of fried chicken. Everybody!

Last time we were in Edmonton, we were looking forward to coming back to town to try. We arrived early for our reservation, but we're an owl because they were dead. A resturaunt this quiet at 7 pm on a Friday night is usually a very bad sign, but this place was good. For Appy 's my husband got the swamp stick (Alligator Kabob we have both grain bread. The maize bread was very crooked, what it was a little hard to eat was really dirty. It came with butter (magic taste, do I think??? So that added some aroma, but we probably wouldn't order it again. He didn't know how to describe the alligator, but it was good. For his meal, he ordered the darkened catfish. It was very spicy fat. That was his first time he tried catfish, so we're not sure if it should have a fat layer on it, but in both ways he didn't take care of it. I had the fried chicken that comes with 2 big pieces, was more than I could ever eat, so he only took a piece of it. I would order definatley this chicken again, but I look forward to other things next time we try to go.
