Royal always delivers a great pizza, anytime of the day Lunch specials are fantastic, steak sandwich is a great value

We stopped in for a meal, pizza , beer and a salad The Greek salad was very disappointing and I was charged $2 for extra feta which was the best part . The pizza was ok but it has been better on other occasions . The waitress even got my beer order wrong . I'll be looking for a better place when I visit edmonton again . The garlic bread was popped out of the toaster hard dry and not very tasty

We usually always have our pizza delivered. The wait time is getting to be longer and longer now a days. The food is really good so likely why the wait time. They should have more drivers. I have been in to pick food up have never dined in the restaurant. They have a fair amount of room for many people and I believe would be wheelchair friendly. They are licensed so you can have a glass of wine or beer with your meal. I really like the spaghetti and meatballs.The manager was great. We placed our order and he had us sit at a table to wait and bought the wife a coffee and myself an iced tea. I thought when asked if we'd like a drink we would have to pay but this was complementary because of the wait time. He was polite and made you feel at home. Now he was off sick one day and we went in to order take out and the wife and waitress had a bit of a tiff because of our phone number. It was no big deal on either part just not hearing each other properly. Thus she took our order to the cook and we where left standing at the counter. No offer of seat or a beverage which one lady working there told me is usually always offered. Very rude. I believe this was the result of our order taking so long. She said something to the cook and when our order was ready he set it on the cooking counter for her to get she ignored it then the cook took it and put it on top of the pizza oven to keep warm. 2 or 3 delivery's went out and a person picking up there order got it. 6 or 7 people came in at once were seated and had their beverages brought to them. I was about to get up and leave when I saw the cook take this bag off the pizza oven and hand it to the waitress and she brought it to us. Just setting it on the table no sorry for the wait thanks come again. The cooks really know their job as the food is great if not for this fact I would never order from them again. We have order several times and always good food but usually and hour or so wait. We live about 6 blocks away from them, pretty close. We are tending to order else where now with shorter wait times. To bad good cooks, great manager the male one and the food is really good at least to us.I would recommend this place as the food is good just be ready to wait.

The Royal Special is what pizza is suppose to be but seldom is. I found myself wiping the plate with the last of my crust. A light flavourful base with great meats and veggies all topped with delicious cheese that is cooked until it is lightly browned. The restaurant itself is open and inviting with a good view of the kitchen. The space would normally fit more tables than they have, so you do not feel like you are not crowded in. They also have a private room at the back that sits about a dozen, that is great for a get together.Simple but good.
