Írjon visszajelzéstI alwayssss order the bacon wrapped shrimp plate! And it’s always so delicious!! But not since the Covid I guess they don’t care and it’s been so gross!! I spent $70 on 2 bacon wrapped shrimp plates and two 32oz margaritas on the rocks! I was so ready to be home w my food and margarita to relax! Opened my plate and the bacon wrapped shrimp was sooo hard and overcooked it hurt or teeth and was so hard to swallow down and had no cheese as they usually do. The margaritas had came w a smallll shot to add ourselves (more like a small splash to go in a huge 32 oz cup) when before the alcohol came inside and would be strong! I was so disappointed. I called the manager and he said he would make the food right for me but that on the margaritas if I wanted them I had to dine in to get them! When idk why bc I ordered them to go in the first place! So when I got my Order “fixed” the bacon wrapped shrimp was so gross and bacon was chewy! I threw my food away! But didn’t mind calling them about it bc I’m sure They wouldn’t have made the food a 3rd time! So later down the road I called and asked if we still went to dine in if we could get our margaritas and they said only one! (When I had bought two originally) and they were $10.99 each! I asked from the very beginning of I could get my money back instead and they told me no!!! Worse $70 I ever spent there!
Since they no longer hand out menus they now change prices from day to day. The food and service has both gone way down over the past year or so. I used to love coming here but not anymore.
I'm a contractor working in the area, and I recently visited Edna's Pinto Bean Restaurant. I really don't understand how they stay in business when they seem to be price gouging daily, and the food isn't even that great.
I went there to have dinner with my daughter. After driving by and parking, I asked some people leaving the restaurant how the food was, and they said it was good. I decided to order the beef quesadillas, but they turned out to be quite greasy. The beans weren’t very good, and the rice was bland. I don't think I'll be returning. The menu that was taped to the wall also felt a bit odd.
The beans are absolutely amazing because they use plenty of bacon grease instead of lard. The Camarones al Mojo de Ajo are cooked to perfection.
