I 've eaten dozens of prime ribs here and even more burgers on burger day , Wednesdays, and have not had a disappointment. Update-2019: The prime rib dinner is now $18, and still well worth it. Also, for the first time, I stopped in for a Thursday special, which is steak and shrimp, with veggies mashed potatoes, for $14 and it was all really good and lots to eat. The steak was large, very tender and excellent with very little cut-off. I think that they 've had this before, but I didn 't know that-I am not a big wing fan. So in 2019, the Wed. Burger is $3 and so good; the Thurs. steak and shrimp is $14 and perfect, and the Sat. Prime Rib dinner is $18. Those are now my 3 preferred days.
The best tenderloin in the state of Michigan. Great place on Sunday when the $3.99 tenderloin sandwich special is served, fried or grilled. Pretty busy so get there early and enjoy the wait with company. First started coming here in the 70's to have a great hamburger and a cold beer with my mom. All thumbs up!!!
The HUGE sign in the front said 50 cent wings. I went in to order me some 50 cent wings and they turned out to be full price. I asked about the sign and they said they 're having management issues or some crazy irrelevant **** like that, so I didn 't get the discount. Question for fireside grill: how does a management issue stop you from changing a sign? All you have to do is change the sign. Ok? Just go outside and change it. Your deceptive practices give you a big fat one star. Enjoy it because I 'm charging you double for it.
Ok- so if you were raised on hamburgers, pizza, chicken, occasional salads and if your parents had beer or alcohol in the house; and played some music- watched some tv and talked to people you sometimes didn't know...??? This is your place. If you like quiche, Indian food, food gras in south bend (where is do not know) expensive wine and dress up all fancy... don't go here. In my opinion... this is the best restaurant within 20 miles and beats every place in Granger.
Very loud. Food took a really long time. The people next to us, who arrived after us, had eaten and left before we got our dinners. We didn't order anything complicated that would take a long time. Food was okay, but not great. For example, the sautéed onions were crunchy, the medium-well hamburger was overdone and a bit burnt, the onion rings included onions from the outer layer that is very tough. We had to really try to get the attention of the waitress for drink refills and our check.
