Like many others we were turned down (not very politely) with the excuse that all tables are reserved (they obviously aren’t as we sit nearby in Aerides several times). It works with locals

We wanted to sit and drink an ouzo and eat a snack. The shop on the beach was empty and the tables had their own towels all over them, so they are spares. Rude and in a phased style, the shop has reservations and they come in ten minutes. Thank you very much for the good he did us because we sat right next door where the guys who owned it were very kind and with great food and service and full of appetite. We tried to sit at 3 and the time is 5, look at the photo of the shop

This place is to be avoided!!! The individual is a clearly racist man, we wanted to eat food and drinks there with friends he threw us like unclean from the table where indeed these are all supposedly reserved only for his friends. Greek origin. 1 or 2 hours later there was no one installed on this famous table. He insulted us, literally freaking out on us, disrespecting us and it almost came to blows in front of the whole beach! Aegina is a beautiful island with very welcoming people except this very dear gentleman who would do better to close his restaurant if you can call it a restaurant. The complete opposite of the restaurant bar next door.
