Mikeska's -b-q Catering - El Campo

Where can you go and get a BBQ lunch plate for under $10, and it actually be good? Here, thats where!!! Big enough to fill my working man's appetite, and didn't break the bank!! Thought it was a Jerry Mikeska's out of Columbus, Texas; but Maurice apparently knows what he's doing too!! Good and full!!

Best barbecue spot in this place and surrounding area. The ribs were fall off the bone and the brisket was so moist and soft. The barbecue sauce had a unique flavor nothing I've ever tasted before highly recommend if you're in the area. The staff were friendly and the dining experience felt very home like

Food was good, brisket slightly dry, sausage was on point! However; the young girl working the register and cutting the meats, had such a poor attitude. She seemed so angry over God knows what. Not only did it seemed her anger/dislike was towards us, but also with her co-workers . She even got into an argument in front of the customers with a co-worker as they dropped a plate of food. Arguing who?s fault it was. This was a poor representation of the first person a customer encounters upon evaluating the service being provided. 2 Stars

Food is very flavorful, meat had a perfect smoke balance and cooked to perfection. Plenty of choices of meat, sides and desert. Restaurant has plenty of seating and parking lot is a good size. Service is good.

Nice bbq restaurant except for the teen girl they have cutting the meat. She didn't seem to care what she was doing or how it was cut. Sausage looked like it had been chewed on after she had cut it and put it it in our to go container. Brisket was the same. I guess the ribs would have also but there's bones in those. Overall though the food was delicious. Want to try another bbq place before I decide if I'll ever go back.
