Church's Texas Chicken - El Cerrito

I love this place and have grown up with it. I'm not usually a fan of greasy food, but their honey butter cookies and chicken sandwiches are amazing. The staff here are friendly and work quickly. It takes me about 35 minutes to get to church from here, and it brings back fond childhood memories.

I truly enjoy this restaurant. For some reason, the chicken here is far more flavorful than at other locations. While the area isn't the best and you may occasionally see some homeless individuals, I recommend just picking up your chicken and taking it home to enjoy your meal!

The voice system was out of order, but I have to give credit to the cashier for taking our large order using just a pencil and paper. We had five orders of okra, and everything was hot and ready when we received it. Overall, the order was accurate, and I appreciated the effort.

One of the best chicken deals I had food was hot excellent service took a little to come for food, but it was the waiting good music playing so that I did not wait, that is great job can not wait until we see more openings in Bay Area this summer

Most Church have closed. I love the fried okra. Really the only reason i go but, the chicken strips were good for my kid. Crispy and tasty.
