La Chocolateria Josh Aike - El Chaltén

El Chaltén has many tourist bars and restaurants, but this café has a real character. It is 5 minutes walk from Main Street, which means it is not so busy. Very friendly staff and delicious food. It is a café with a limited but homemade menu. On our first day we had apple and ginger cake and white chocolate almond cake. We went back the next day to have the same thing back after the pizza. The pizza we made was so tasty and we only filled for a few plates of their homemade chocolate. This café deserves, unsuccessful and I would recommend it without hesitation. Very good value too and they take cards decisive in Argentina!

The best dessert place with ingenious Alfajores (triple) ever! Beautiful café in a wooden hut! All deserts are at home. Served there twice and even bought chocolate and Alfajores to take away.

A visit to this quirky café with many atmospheres, an oil drum fire and a large table upstairs with a view. Real chocolate, taste the hot chocolate and made home apple cake. Rum options also to season the chocolate. Yum yum great when it rains.

My friends and I spent an entire afternoon here on a rainy day in El Chalten. We had coffee, hot chocolate, local beer, pizza, roasted sandwiches, brownies, apple ginger tarts, Alfajores and homemade chocolate. Everything absolutely delicious and good value for money.

The place has a lot of personality and is really cool. Has great chocolate deserts and coffee. We loved it!
