Beaunique Latin Kitchen - Elgin

Went to Beaunique a few weeks agoThe food was beyond amazingThe service was 1st rate.Bea came out twice to talk my guest and myself. Through our conversation found out thst her and her husband are from my old neighborhood in the city and her husband and I went to the same Grammer school in the city.I wish both of them and their family all the success and I sm looking forward to going back to Beaunique!Till we meet again!

First off I could smell the food a block away and it instantly made my mouth water! Was greeted by a warm friendly smile very nice gentlemen (I found out later it was one of the owners The menu had so many choices that sounded so good it was hard to decide!My boyfriend and I both got different dishes so we could both try each others food ! The flavor was amazing we will definitely be back ! We were also greeted by the other owner (who cooks all the tasty dishes!! such a warm and inviting place to dine I highly suggest to go check it out!Parking: There was both ample street parking and a free parking lot less than a block awayKid-friendliness: Was the type of friendly warm atmosphere that makes you feel like your with family!

Delicious jibarritos, yuca fries (seasoned very well! And Puerto Rican rice. Quick service and a very laid back atmosphere...also near free parking. Miy rico!

I just had the most delicious authentic Puerto Rican late lunch. (Shhh! Off menu Mofongo with steak, plantains, rice and all kinds of other goodness) it was absolutely amazing, and Bea and her husband Al are such a sweet couple.
