Casa Lara - Elgin

The burritos are amazing, bursting with flavor! I can't express how delicious they are. The meat is incredibly tender, not dry at all, and perfectly seasoned.

I’m really disappointed with this restaurant. The first time I visited, the lady was very friendly and let me order some tacos to go, even though there were only two people dining in. The second time, I showed up during their stated hours on Friday, only to find they were closed. On my third visit, the guy was incredibly rude and told me that dining in starts at 7 PM. Honestly, you either need to update your hours or reconsider your attitude. It feels like if I weren’t a white Mexican, I wouldn’t even be served. I’m done with this place.

The food here is both authentic and delicious, with great quality at a reasonable price. It's definitely going to become a regular choice for my lunches.

The food made me cry… tears of joy. I go everyday at 3:17 pm and they know my order by heart. Had my first kiss there, I’ll never forget this place.

This place is disgusting, there food is disgusting!!! There place looks like a jail, definitely needs remolding. Staff didn’t wear masks!! My sister cried because of the food there.
