Great Wall Chinese - Elgin

My favorite place, great food, great service. They are fast and food is always good.

We arrived at this place for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew were extremely nice and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

The best steamed dumplings around! Beef and broccoli is so good! Broccoli is cooked perfectly every time.

We've read the reviews before we go and make sure we had cash, lol. The food was ordered quickly. We got it home and it was still too hot to eat right away. Everything had great taste, the fried dumplings are absolutely perfect. I recommend this place to take Chinese home. The dragon and Phoenix were perfectly cooked and served next to each other. Hot and acid soup was spicy, but needed a little vinegar to get to my desired sour. Full of vegetables and taste, came with some crispy Wintons. We also ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. Came with sauce on the side as it should be, and was crispy and perfectly cooked. What a great meal.

I walk in, the place smells like straight cigarettes. Then I taste my fried rice…tastes smoky with a terrible bitter after taste. Anybody would be able to tell that they don’t care about mixing cigarette air with the food they are cooking. Didn’t eat the rice. Disgusting
