This place is off the wall AWESOME! The combinations of ingredients in the dogs and FRESH cut fries is like no other hot dog joint. Do your self a flavor and check this place out, your taste buds and stomach will thank you. And for an added bonus they are playing punk rock for your listening pleasure along with an arcade games set up that's on free play. Great place for young and old my kids love this place.

I took my girlfriend out to eat for her birthday. She mentioned this place when she heard that she took part in a hearing in downtown. She said they had something to do with live music. Since we are both interested in supporting the small businesses of the city center of Elgin, I decided to go there safely. So I read some reviews, reviewed their website and came to the conclusion that it is quite likely an interesting setup to try out. It's Friday 22. February and we go to downtown, park in the garage and go down where it is located. First I was like, where is the duck? Then we realized that it was within a larger building that called something or other than the dream. But the name was clearly listed in the list of internal enterprises. Once inside it was obvious where to go. There were stairs that led to the cellar as if a rave type of feeling and when walking down you could change the environment into a cruel, punk atmosphere. I saw Playbills for punk bands and skateboards hanging on the walls. COOL! This was at 4:45 and when we came into the room, I realized that we were literally the only cartridges there. We weren't quite sure what we should do. But then we were greeted and asked if we were to carry out the execution or the food. I said no, we stay and eat here. So I know there would be interesting and different hot dogs and some shaved ice treats. But I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I must be very careful what I eat, because my teeth are so bad and loose that I usually can't eat anything that needs to be groomed extensively, but I really wanted to try something else like this. I have a road rash that was as close to a chili dog as it was. See I could bring this to an emergency medical student without end. I said, Eh, it seems a little expensive, but it's a meal. When the concoction arrived, it was definitely a reason for the costs. They placed this gigantic thing in front of me, which is not your typical hot dog on a bungalow look. It was more like on a baked bread and was crushed with melted cheese, various onions, bacon bits, creamy fabric and you could not see a dog or chili on it. At first, I thought I'd eat it. I took it up like a conventional hot dog and took a bite out of the end. There it was, the dog and chili, caught in this melted cheese case. I thought this would be a huge mess. But after I got this neat unique and authentic taste in my mouth, I wasn't worried about a mess and my teeth. I said I'm gonna end this no matter what. I did it carefully and it was a huge mess. A very tasty mess. I loved it. The best mess I've ever had since sloppy jokes. It was also very full. After that they said we could just hang around as long as we liked it, and we stayed a little around. I was fascinated by the layout of the place and started taking pictures with my phone. I also sent a message to my son to go down and check it out. My friend and I are both 57, but I'm about to play guitar and the genre of music that focuses on guitar. So I felt a lot comfortable and at home in this place. Also, as we went through all the time that I had described, many other people began to appear in this pretty cool little hiding place. I felt much better for the owner who came out of the kitchen to see how everything went. My friend assured me that he was the Lord she saw in the city center at the hearings. He was a very pleasant person. We didn't introduce ourselves, but I think he could be mentioned this Matt person in other reviews. This business, in my opinion, is definitely worthy to stay afloat and will certainly be one of my more frequent go-to positions when I feel like on a sloppy, ingenious, unlike typical hot dog. I feel weird calling it a hot dog. It was more like an artwork. This place, if you can refer to this review, certainly deserves a visit to get your own opinions. Try it.

Legit Dogs can seem overrated at first glance, $8 for a hot dog? But you have to try it because these hot dogs are a culinary magnum opus. You're just the best hot dogs I ever had. The diversity and excellence of each dog will come back to try them all. But wait, there's more! You even have a wide selection of the most delicious snow cone / razor ice cream you can find so far from the tropics. Add to regular live music, arcade games and a unique decor, and this will be a place where you will always come.

Outstanding and imaginative. I love that they focus on the Hot-Dog, they’re delicious and the Hawaiian shaved ice is nice as well. I think they had like 5 different kinds of preparations, I had the classic which had a pickle, sport peppers, tomato, celery salt I can’t remember the rest. My daughter and the mix Mac. I know it had Mac and cheese on it, but I don’t know what else. The toppings are so huge that it’s quite a bit more than a hot-dog. It was sort of a lark that I was there in the first place, but what drew me in was the sign. It’s advertising gold.

Love the spins on a traditional hotdogs. Tried the new Polska and it was delicious Their version of ice cream and ice is out of this world good. Great stop when in Elgin!
