The Dessert - Elgin

Paying $6 for dry cake slices is not worth it. I was unimpressed and question the positive reviews. What were they eating? Our experience was completely different.

We recently used the catering services for a birthday party with my family. Unfortunately, the food arrived over an hour late without any explanation or apology. The quality of the food was good, but I would not suggest using their catering services unless you plan on picking up and setting up the food on your own.

I finally decided to visit this restaurant and I am so happy that I did. The staff were friendly towards me and my daughter, and the cake I brought was fantastic. I will be returning today.

I'm fairly new to the area and wanted to have a custom cake made for my sons 4th birthday. I stumbled across the dessert bar one day on my way home from work and I'm glad I did! Selina took my vision and brought it to life and even added some cute pieces to the cake which matched up with our theme perfectly! So if you need a custom cake made I highly recommend the dessert I know I will be back for any future cakes!
