Ironbound - Elizabeth

Pretty cozy place to dine in. We got pizza, quesadilla and salad, not the best tasting just OK. Staff was great though!

Stopped at Ironbound for dinner before heading home from dropping off a person at EWR. The salad was good, waiter was accommodating on my drink of Lemonade with Lavender syrup.

I was stuck in the associated hotel during a blizzard. Ironbound was the only option. The food is likely not cooked in the kitchen but reheated. I ordered several times the basmati rice bowl because it was remotely plant based. It came in various presentations, veggies around the bowl, half rice half veggies. It always came out quickly. Like 5 minutes quick. That's not time to cook a meal. Thankfully they had sriracha and I dumped it on my Basmati rice bowl (no meat). That improved it.

Business traveler stuck on thanksgiving on the road. The renaissance hotel kitchen made a good meal to take the edge off being away from home. See picture. Pictures worth a thousand words. It was as good as or better a thanksgiving meal than you'd get at a friends. Thanks renaissance

Very solid as far as airport hotel kitchens go! I got the turkey club and it was a very sizable sandwich for a decent price!
