La Calenita Bakery - Elizabeth

When we arrived, my husband was warmly greeted by a lovely lady who helped him navigate the menu. He ordered the La Calenita breakfast platter and the Bandeja Paisa, both of which were incredibly authentic and served in generous portions! I’ll include a video for reference. Honestly, I could eat this every day! My husband and I would gladly make the journey (it’s a beautiful drive from where we live) just to enjoy this amazing food again!

I had a wonderful visit! The food was excellent, and the waitress was fantastic. The restaurant was clean and quiet, which I really appreciated. I look forward to going there more often.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly, and the homemade Colombian food is absolutely delicious! The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a great option for a daily lunch. It's one of those cozy little places that may be small, but the food is fantastic. I will definitely be returning. I love their daily lunch specials—they offer great value and generous portions!

I disagree with this restaurant in a lentil soup I got a black hair. Do not take a picture because of how unpleasant it looks. I do not recommend it . Just paid and left.

Excellent food and excellent service. You can't go wrong with the Colombian culture and cuisine in this area. Definitely check it out. The location is quaint but you're not going there for stellar dining experience but more of a comfortable and homely location to enjoy an amazing, affordable, meal. Definitely a go-to spot whenever you are in this area.
