Leatherby's Family Creamery - Elk Grove

Crowded but we were able to get a table for 10. This is served restaurant style so you get seated and order from a menu with a waiter. People go here for the ice cream but they do have a simple burger and fries and other sides on the menu. Very friendly staff and quick service. I tried the chili cheese fries and that was pretty good, I like that it got served before the ice cream. The ice cream portion sizes are ginormous and delicious! You can share one order with 3-4 people. I ordered a small shake and that came out in Regular size so if you’re an ice cream lover and in the mood for a huge treat, this is the place.

Excellent ice cream! I’ve been coming to Leatherby’s for YEARS, but this was my first time coming to the Elk Grove location. This is by far their nicest location. We had the pleasure of having Brandon as our server and he was super nice and very attentive. I tried the new seasonal tiramisu flavor and it did not disappoint. Of course I had to get their delicious fries too!

We came here on a recommendation from an employee. Leatherby? Family Creamery was amazing. The Pommes here are in the Top Ten Pommes I've ever had. Advertise the Cowboy Bacon Burger, who came on with bacon and an onion ring. Tasteful and would recommend. We also have the houseries of Leatherby who came on them with bacon, ranch and cheese. We enjoyed our food here and would recommend it for food alone. The real reason people come here is the ice. I ordered a milkshake and a single paddle cookie and a cream waffle cone. Both were delicious treats to end the day. recommend this place. Very family-friendly.

Staff was amazing and friendly icecream was smooth and creamy and the hot fudge and carmel sauces were amazballs well worth the money

Food is tasty and fresh, the staff are really friendly and helpful as well. Definitely a place I will visit when I?m in town. They have a good selection of food and large selection of desserts. Worth checking out if you find yourself in Elk Grove or Sacramento.
