Whether poutins, shrimps and dimples, soups, chickens or desserts, everything comes with something extra taste and care. Definitely worth a visit to spot in the area.
Our group of 4 dined without a reservation around 5:30 on a Friday night and they still had a seat for us! Hidden away is this delicious, creative, and darling restaurant. We had wings to start and they were absolutely delicious and juicy. We then had 4 entries. Gluten Free grilled chicken sandwich, Mac cheese, chicken wrap philly beef sandwich. We ended with their incredible cheesecake on a magnificent gluten free almond cinnamon crumble. Including 4 drinks we spent about $120 plus tip. Totally recommend for gluten free diners. Opt for kettle chips instead of fries for gluten free. They have gluten free options for buns, bread wraps.
We were coming down from up north around 5p and called for take out. They do not do call ins or online ordering dinner rush, unfortunately. So we sat down and ate. We?ve pass this place so many times going up 10 and said we would stop one day- yesterday was that that day! The food is phenomenal and the drinks were even better! They have really good mocktails for those who do not drink, which is nice because they are often overlooked!! We ordered the roadhouse burger, farmers reward, rooster Mac-cheese, and spinach dip!! It?s a lot of food for two hungry people and my fiancé LOVE the food. He usually hates mac-n-cheese, but this one was so good and it had button mushrooms, chicken, and bacon. The spinach dip is honestly so good and so close to homemade dip (extra ingredients and all lol . The grilled chicken was such a nice sandwich/burger- it?s hard to find a place that doesn?t only fry the chicken. And the roadhouse burger was really great, according to my fiancé. Also, the bacon they gave you isn?t that thin cut stuff which is a win in our book. The food didn?t get us all bloated like a usual restaurant with similar food would (maybe because all of our food wasn?t deep-fried . So it is somewhat IBS-stomach friendly, but to each their own! The atmosphere/aesthetic was very cute and farmy. My fiancé just though there should be more BBQ related food items, but please keep chicken related food please (esp the grilled chicken!!! Personally, we would return again for something different or the same stuff. Yeah they are short staffed, but I think everyone is nowadays. They do their best to refill drinks help other customers. If you need more water or something else, you can definitely walk up to the bar and ask, if someone doesn?t get right to you. Keep up the great work Tipsy Chicken! :
Can?t wait to come back! Randomly picked this place for date night. So glad to find such a yummy place for cocktails and food in the north metro. Old Fashions were fantastic. We also had the spinach dip, poutine, gnocchi with fried chicken breast and chicken biscuit with sausage gravy. As I?m writing this the next morning I?m still full. Kyli P was an amazing server bartender. Felt so bad for her, she had a terrible couple come in not long before closing and sit next to us who 1 could not bother to wait to be seated as the sign said, 2 immediately complained about the price of cocktails food 3 proceeded to order ice water and chicken tenders all while complaining about the prices and be rude 4 tip her only TWO DOLLARS! Yes, I?m the weirdo who glanced at their receipt as I walked out. People, if you can?t be patient, kind and/or don?t have the money to go out and tip appropriately (20% , please stay home. Service workers don?t deserve to deal with terrible customers.
What an awesome atmosphere! Loved it! Food was awesome! I had chicken biscuits and gravy and my wife had pancakes... Both were sooo delicious. **** Mary was really good and so was the beet margarita! Seriously give it a go!
