You MUST taste the Prime Rib Sandwich!!! It is INCREDIBLE! (At least, we loved it! It comes with homemade chips, that are also delicious! And the best part in my opinion: the gluten free bun is really tasty! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I don’t mind paying a premium for a sandwich that’s unique and delicious, but sadly, this was neither. The famous rye bread was stale and chewy, and the homemade chips were also past their prime. One of my friends ordered a corned beef sandwich and remarked that it didn’t taste like any corned beef he had ever had—definitely not in a good way. We all agreed that we were overcharged for what amounted to deli sandwiches made with stale rye bread, very little meat, a slice of cheese, onions, tomatoes, and dijon mustard. I truly cannot understand why this place has a reputation as a local favorite. You can easily find better and more distinct sandwiches at any franchised sandwich shop for a lower price. I was shocked to find myself spending nearly $40 for two sandwiches without drinks, only to receive what felt like convenience store quality. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet we waited a while for our food, which baffled us since assembling four simple sandwiches should take no more than a few minutes, along with a handful of stale chips. The ordering process was also unnecessarily complicated, requiring us to order food at one counter and drinks at another, with separate payments for each. We decided not to bother with the hassle and just grabbed water from the dispenser at the counter. Thankfully, we avoided additional costs for drinks, as that would have pushed our total over $50 for mediocre sandwiches. This establishment should be ashamed of their prices and the quality of their food, especially when charging extra for additional meats without providing any real increase. It feels like unscrupulous business practices to me.
