East Towne Pub - Ellijay

Great for us locals and anyone else that appreciates a great selection of beer and food, courteous people too.

Fried pickles and fries were salty. Fish was overcooked and hard. Chicken wings were overdone and gross. Service was slow and sparse. Wouldn't reccomend.

Really wanted to like this place, a good friend recommended as my husband loves wings but unfortunately they were not good. They were supposed to be all flats, didn't happen. Wings are very small and the sauce is very ordinary, not what he had hoped for. I ordered the Cheeseburger, asked for cheddar cheese, extra cheddar, also didn't happen. Burger was very plain, really lacking in flavor. I will say I liked the pickles on the burger, they seemed to be homemade. I also liked the tator tots the music was good. The beer was good, cold reasonably priced. However overall I do not feel we will be back. Hopefully the cook was just having an off night. Our waiter was very nice though. If wings and burgers are what you're looking for in Ellijay, please go to the Tavern! You won't regret it. The burgers are so juicy. We haven't been disappointed there yet, except for the wait, at times it can be a minute.

Decent food. Depending on what server you get will help you decide if it's a good time. Don't stay late unless you want the local drama, which is not good!

The food was really good! too bad the service was so bad! The bartender was a nice guy but disappeared every 10 minutes for about 15 minutes at a time. People were coming to the bar and looking for somebody but to no avail. My wings and salad were both delicious but it took about 20 minutes to get any food. I would go back had the service not been so bad but I don't think I will. if you have plenty of time on your hands and don't mind waitin, go here and eat, otherwise don't!
