Outback Steakhouse - Ellisville

I and the Missus had a good experience at this point. The food (we had both a chicken and bacon creation and no appetizers or deserts) was hot and accurate on arrival. The server was friendly, fast and seemed eager to meet our needs. All in all, you get what you pay in this popular chain restaurant. This is our second satisfactory experience here.

I had the Sunday lobster dish along with two sides, and it was absolutely delicious. We also loved the Caesar salads—the dressing was superb, and the lobster tails were cooked to perfection. Jenna, our waitress, was fantastic. The atmosphere was both relaxing and enjoyable. The music was a bit loud for our liking, but Jenna took care of it thoughtfully. She was very pleasant and greatly enhanced our dining experience with her excellent service and cheerful smile.

I have to say that the coconut shrimp appetizer was fantastic, and the Alice sources chicken was the best I've ever had! I would have given this visit a 5-star rating, but the hostess was exceedingly rude, which almost made us leave. Honestly, being a host is not a difficult job, and her eye-rolling and muttering while seating guests was something I've never experienced before! If I weren't 7 months pregnant, we definitely would have walked out.

The restaurant was clean, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. My pork chop was cooked to perfection; it was juicy and flavorful. Others in my group felt their steaks were a bit dry, but that might have been due to their cooking preferences.
