Pizza Express - Elmbridge

What a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect the service at Pizza Express to be as impressive as it was. The staff was very attentive and the pizza was hot and well-cooked. Great job!

Had an absolutely brilliant experience here and so unexpected. On our way back from a nice day out with 7 kids and a puppy we stopped at Pizza Express Cobham services. I stayed in the car with the puppy as it was such a hot day and could keep the aircon on. Staff explained how I could walk around the back with the dog and sit outside to eat. A lovely quiet spot (until we turned up! in the shade which was just perfect and allowed us all to have a nice dinner together. Staff were quick to get water for the puppy and came back with two more jugs of water for top ups without having been asked. We had bought a birthday cake with us which we didn’t manage to eat while out as we needed to wash hands and get out of the heat they served it up for us and put a candle on it. The puppy made a mess with food on the floor outside and the staff were really understanding and relaxed about it all. Even helping fill up an empty water bottle for us to take with us for the way home. Such a lovely relaxing experience being waited on by very attentive staff, lovely pizzas and nice cold drinks. I wish I knew the names of the staff but a small lady (she called herself that so hope he won’t mind the description was the superstar and a dark haired guy with a beard (sorry best description I can come up with was great but all in all everyone was fantastic.

We visited a Pizza Express located at a service station, so we didn't have high expectations. To our surprise, it turned out to be one of the best Pizza Express we have experienced. The service was excellent and the staff was very kind to our daughter. The food was served hot, fresh, and quickly.

I decided to leave a review because we really enjoyed the experience. The staff were attentive and welcoming and the restaurant ambiance very pleasant. You wouldn’t know it was attached to a busy motorway service station. The food came out promptly, it was delicious, well cooked and hot. We don’t go to our local Pizza Express anymore because the restaurant has gone downhill rapidly since Covid, but this one at Cobham made us realise what we’ve been missing. A really good Pizza Express experience, just as it should be. Thank you!
