Du Bois Pastry - Elmhurst

This is by far the best bakery in NYC. It’s a charming mom-and-pop shop in Queens that has been around for many years, making it a true neighborhood staple. There are only a few bakeries like this left, so it’s definitely worth a visit. They offer a wide range of treats, from baklava to French breads, croissants, and a huge variety of cookies! Additionally, their pies during the holidays are absolutely sensational!

They offer the best baklava in town! As noted in other reviews, their strawberry shortcake is also fantastic! Just a heads up: they only accept cash, so be prepared for that before you visit.

This bakery has been loved by generations of my family. I had the luxury of stopping in today to grab a fresh cheese danish, some eclairs, and other delicious goodies. Extremely reasonably priced FRESH BAKED GOODS and they are high quality! Christmas time is the best in my opinion to get the assorted cookies- always a hit and classic.

Always come here for their black forest and strawberry shortcakes. Price can't be beat and the quality is superb.
